Bob O’Haver speaks computer fluently. His natural talent in technology has given him a range of opportunities from the entertainment industry to web publishing. Bob’s feature film credits include Production Supervisor for Disney’s Dinosaur and Visual Effects Producer for StarGate, Last Of The Dogmen, and CutThroat Island. His other credits include: national commercials, music videos and motion-based rides. He has worked with a variety of notable directors like Doug Trumbull, Roland Emmerich, and Renny Harlin.

Bob also has extensive experience in the Internet industries. In 1994 Bob co-founded visualfx.com, a successful website for Visual Effects professionals. In 1999 Creative Planet purchased visualfx.com and brought Bob on as a Industry Consultant, Web Publisher and Director of Community Creation and Development.

Bob is co-owner and Technical Guru of O’Haver + Company, Casting + Creative Services, a Los Angeles based casting company founded by his wife, Casting Director, Jenny O’Haver. For more information log onto: ohaver.net.

Bob loves to teach. He has taught in classrooms and on-on-one situations from the Hollywood Hills to the Berkshire Hills. At the Gnoman School of Visual Effects in Los Angeles, Bob taught ‘The History of Visual Effect’ for several years. His computer training clients include individuals and companies in both Southern California and Western Massachusetts.

Bob, his wife Jenny and son Ian moved from Hollywood to the Berkshire Hills of Massachusetts in 2004. Since moving to the Berkshires, he has opened O’Haver + Company Computers, a computer company designed to help people through their technology woes.
